Banham's Personal Attack Filtering Policy
In keeping with the intention and spirit of the Association of Chief Police Officers’ Security Systems Policy and in conjunction with the Metropolitan Police, Banham initiated, in June 2003, a method of filtering Personal Attack signals that is an effective method of reducing the number of false alarms passed to the Police.
This has two positive results. Firstly it prevents the waste of limited Police resources and secondly it protects our customers from having Police response withdrawn.
Since its implementation Banham has seen an overall reduction in the number of Personal Attack false alarms passed to the Police of almost 40%.
Banham is proud of this additional service, which we provide to our Alarm Receiving Centre customers at NO EXTRA CHARGE.
To date we know of only one other company that also offers this service. However, their version of this service is not FREE.
