Audio and Video Entry Systems
Banham are able to supply, install, service and maintain a wide and comprehensive range of audio and video entry systems. In most domestic environments entry systems allow you to control access to your premises, whilst not having to face callers directly or to climb flights of stairs, just to open a door.
There are two basic types of entry systems:
Audio entry systems
Audio entry systems will allow you to speak to callers before you let them in, either by physically opening the door yourself, or releasing the door from the convenience of a remote location via an electric release mechanism.
Video entry systems
Video entry systems provide you with the same features as an audio system, however it will also display images of callers for increased security.

The Banham Elite 7501E open voice audio monitor
The Elite is a miniature ‘open voice’ monitor incorporating a 2-inch LCD colour display. The unit has two audio modes, ‘push to talk’ mode or automatic audio switching. The monitor is compatible with the Sound System, Icon and Digibus systems. The Elite is available with wipe clean-brushed steel, polished brass or polished steel finishes. Bronze effect versions and custom panel designs are available to order.
External Adjustments
- Lock Button – activates door release.
- Self-Button – activation of monitor, (AUX, only on Digi-bus).
- Brightness and contrast controls for screen adjustments.
- Talk Button – activates a two-way audio connection with the entrance panel when pressed while the monitor is activated (Simplex ‘push to talk’ mode or automatic audio switching).
Internal Adjustments
- Separate loudspeaker and microphone volume adjustment.
Panel Dimensions:

The Banham Elvox 6600 open voice video monitor
This open voice, flush or surface mounted unit is a stylish, flexible alternative to a conventional video entry phone monitor, Designed to provide the optimum viewing angle the unit gives that feel of being minimal in design without compromising either security or operational functionality.
The unit provides the following features:
