Banham offer a wide range of window locks so you will be able to find the right locks for your windows.
Some locks are multi-purpose and can be fitted to any type of window but we also have locks that are specifically for french doors and some for sash windows.
Locks should be fitted to all windows that are in a vulnerable position, i.e. on the ground or first floors, or accessed easily from a fire escape or adjoining building. Locks can protect your property against forced entry by opportunistic burglars.
Window locks can also be used to protect the safety of those inside the building. For example, if you have young children you may want to have locks fitted to any windows they can reach, restricting how much of the window they can open, or keeping it shut completely. You may also want to lock your windows open in order to allow ventilation. This is particularly useful if your bedroom is on the ground floor but you want to sleep with your window open during hot weather, for example.

W121 Sash Stop

- This key operated window lock enables a window to be locked shut, or open in two positions, thus allowing fresh air to enter while giving protection

W106 Wood Casement and Fanlight Lock
- This window lock is specially made for rebated and narrow stile wooden framed casement windows and fanlights. These are at right angles to the reception plate, which is secured into the stile by a heavy fixed thread. When this window lock is locked, it tightens the stile to the frame, preventing any play, thus giving the utmost security

W105 1 3/4" (45mm) and W104 1 1/4" (30mm) Mortice Rackbolts for French Doors
- Security bolts for wood casement and wood French windows. Fitted to top and bottom of French door. These security bolts offer protection against the intruder who breaks the glass in order to operate the casement handle

R102 Mortice Rack Bolt
- It is suitable for fitting to internal doors or to the top of French doors. Optional fixed or detachable key. This security window lock can be supplied with 7” (178mm) boxed striker plate embodying a boxed recess as additional protection.
