We have upgraded the technology on your alarm panel

We are pleased to inform you that the technology on your alarm panel has now been upgraded to include Automatic Remote Maintenance (ARM) technology.

With ARM technology, you can still enjoy the peace of mind that your alarm system is always operating at an optimum level but with the added convenience that one of your required security checks can now be carried out remotely. Therefore, from now on, you only need to be present to let us in to carry out our inspection once a year, instead of twice a year.

The Automatic Remote Maintenance (ARM) process involves an engineer dialling into your alarm panel and carrying out a system walk through. We will check that every device is signalling and operating correctly and run checks on all battery levels and power supplies. A report will be sent to you once the ARM is complete and if a fault is found, we will contact you with any further action required. Any faults detected will be rectified at no extra charge, other than for replacement components outside the guarantee period.

An experienced Banham engineer will still visit your property annually to carry out an in-person check of your system and to perform any tasks that cannot be carried out remotely, such as changing batteries or contacts as a usual part of the annual maintenance inspection.

The upgraded panel technology that you now enjoy, means you can benefit from the same peace of mind that your Banham alarm is regularly serviced and checked to NSI and insurance standards, with more convenience and flexibility.

This upgrade of your alarm panel technology has been done free of charge as part of your annual service contract. Our engineer activated the technology on our last visit so you can begin to enjoy the benefits of this change immediately. Your next maintenance check will be carried out by ARM and we will notify you in advance of when we will carry out the remote check. You do not need to do anything or be present at the property for the ARM to be carried out.
