Banham Academy Apprentice
This week we would like you to meet one of our Maintenance engineer apprentices Everald, 23 years old who has been part of Banham Academy for 9 months. He likes to challenge himself and gain new skills, when he saw an advertisement for Banham Academy he knew it would be perfect for him.
His role includes servicing equipment and programming systems. His apprenticeship means he receives in house training as well as gaining experience from a Banham engineer.
Everald enjoys interacting with people and wanted to provide a service that left customers feeling safe and gave them peace of mind.
“Working with Banham security is a great experience as it has given me an opportunity to meet new people and go to new places, I enjoy learning about alarm installations and programming.”
We asked Everald what advice he had for any young person considering an apprenticeship: “Take every opportunity as they come as you will never know where it will take you”
“Everald is a good listener and takes information on board. This is a strong trait to possess as not just a learner but also as an engineer.” – Banham Academy Support Tutor
Everald is getting stuck into some in house training with his team
