Banham Security has recently gone through a re-brand and website redesign, with further major changes to the website to come, including e-commerce and Key Registration. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to learn about a wider marketing strategy in an expanding and changing company that already has an excellent position in the industry. This role has a large focus on digital marketing, with a lesser focus on offline marketing activity.

Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Maintain and manage the Social Media plan across multiple channels including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest
  • Digital marketing tasks related to online tools including Magento CMS, Google My Business, SemRush, Search Console, Google Ads, Jira, Sharepoint / OneDrive
  • Content collation and creation for social media posting, web content, flyers, brochures and other marketing materials, including text and images, in accordance with brand guidelines
  • Assisting with changes to the website relating to webpages, product data, imagery, user testing
  • Maintain statistics – including marketing dashboard, website enquiry levels
  • Ad hoc and general marketing tasks including photo shoots, offline tasks, assisting with event planning
  • Assisting with implementing PR and partnership agreements, including charity campaigns and mutual partnerships with companies
  • Note-taking for meetings
  • Occasional out-of-hours attendance at events may be required

Skills required:

  • At least 1 year’s digital marketing experience
  • Social Media posting and channel growth experience across multiple platforms
  • Some understanding of SEO, keyword research, keyword rankings
  • High standard of written and oral skills
  • Highly organised - can organise own workload to meet deadlines
  • Independently own projects
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Team player but also able to work autonomously
  • Self-starter, proactive
  • Meticulous attention to detail and checking of own work
  • Some experience with online platforms, ideally but not limited to: Google Analytics, Buffer, Semrush, Search Console, Google Ads, Jira, Sharepoint/OneDrive
  • MS Word, Excel
  • Desire to pursue a career in digital marketing
  • Basic HTML, or desire to learn
  • Knowledge of PPC (Google Ads)
  • A/B testing
  • Retail experience
