Are Banham alarms monitored 24/7?

Yes. With a monitored contract, Banham alarms are monitored 24/7, 365 days a year through Banham’s own in‑house Alarm Receiving Centre. Any activation at any time triggers a rapid 

response from our in-house monitoring team who, depending on your needs and contract,

will contact you and your key holders, or dispatch Banham Keyholding to attend, or the police if required.


How reliable are Banham alarms?

Banham alarms are highly reliable, with expert installation by thoroughly vetted and certified engineers, comprehensive remote maintenance, annual system checks, and 24/7 monitoring at our in‑house Alarm Receiving Centre. All signals are encrypted to the highest standards.


Do Banham alarms come with a warranty?

Yes. All Banham alarm systems come with a 12‑month warranty at minimum, while those with monitored alarm and police response contracts receive a lifetime warranty. Alarm systems also include ongoing technical support and annual maintenance by our expert engineers.

Can Banham alarms be installed in period properties?

Yes. Banham offers wired, wireless, or hybrid alarm systems, to suit both new and existing properties, including period architecture. A Banham security advisor will survey your home or business and recommend a tailored solution based on your layout and requirements.

Do Banham alarms meet insurance requirements?

Yes. Banham alarms comply with EN50131 Grade 2 standards, which is the European level of security required by insurers for residential properties. 

Following our expert installation and risk assessment, Banham alarm systems meet NSI Gold accreditation standards, the highest level in the UK.
