COVID-19 MAINTENANCE UPDATE
Dear Valued Customers,
At Banham we have been protecting customers for nearly a century, and in unprecedented times like this we know our responsibility to protect you goes beyond your security. As a family business now in our fourth generation, we understand that the safety of those you care about is what matters most.
Following the Prime Minister’s request for people stay at home unless absolutely necessary, Banham Security is now operating emergency and essential services only. We are therefore unable to carry out our upcoming planned maintenance visit. We will be in touch to re-schedule your visit once Government advice has been revised and we are satisfied that the risk to our customers and valued colleagues has been reduced.
We will continue to work hard to give you peace of mind including the following services:
- Remote Maintenance
For customers with the latest Banham Alarm, the Automatic Remote Maintenance (ARM) carries out a full check of your security system to confirm it is functioning properly. An engineer will remotely dial into your alarm panel and carry out a system walk through to check that every device is signalling and operating correctly. You do not need to be present at the property for this maintenance check to be carried out.
- 24/7 Monitoring Support
Our team of controllers and infrastructure continues to provide 24/7 support and monitoring of your security system, if this is a service you have with us. Our controllers will be prioritising responding to your alarm activations, and we will contact the Police (if applicable) and you to let you know what’s happening.
- Technical Support
We have a fleet of emergency service engineers on hand to attend to any emergencies. They can also provide remote technical assistance and can guide you through with phone support.
- Customer Support
Our office teams are all set up to work remotely and to take your queries. Please email us using our contacts which you can find here: https://www.banham.co.uk/covid19-contact-information. If you would like to speak to someone, please let us know and we would be happy to give you a call.
Throughout our company’s 94-year history, we have seen our loyal customers through many challenging times. We will respond and adapt to the situation we currently face as generations before us have done – by always putting the safety and security of our customers and staff first.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. We will provide you with further updates once normal service resumes.
