Congratulations Max and Jo!
In June this year, 12 apprentices from Banham Academy took part in the ‘Engineers of Tomorrow’ competition at the IFSEC international exhibition held at the Docklands Excel. Competing against apprentices from other companies, the challenge set was to install and programme a small alarm system comprising of one control panel, one PIR sensor, one vibration sensor, a reacting bell box and a CSL Dualcom system.
The apprentices were also expected to figure out any deliberately placed faults within the system. On the final day Max and Jo, two of our first year Banham Academy apprentices, placed top in their group and qualified as finalists for the IFSEC Security & Fire Excellence Awards 2016. After a long and nerve-racking wait, it was announced on the 23rd of November at The Park Lane Hilton that Max and Jo had won first place in the ‘Engineers of Tomorrow’ 2016!
We are extremely proud of Max and Jo as well as all our apprentices who took part and have represented Banham Academy to the highest of standards!
