Our Key Registration system offers a unique level of protection.
It ensures you can only get a copy of your Banham Mark III key cut if you are individually registered with us – or authorised to get keys cut on another’s behalf.
Key Registration is only available to homeowners, companies and managing agents who hold our latest Banham Mark III key.
If you hold a Banham Mark I or Mark II key, you cannot register it with us as these models don’t hold a current patent. (Don’t know the Mark of your Banham key? Find out here.)
Registering your Banham Mark III key is easy, fast and secure. Here’s how.
Key Registration for homeowners
-
If you have your Banham Key Registration Form:
1. Complete the paper form – this should have been provided with your new lock or cylinder. It will include your invoice number, key number and the quantity of original keys you received. When filling in your address, please choose the address where the locks are physically fitted.
2. Upload and send the form to us here or post it (via recorded delivery) to:
Key Registration Team
Banham Security

3. Once your Key Registration is set up, you can get duplicate keys cut in any Banham showroom.
-
If you don’t have your Banham Key Registration Form:
1. We’ll need these three documents to set up your Key Registration online:
- A photo of your Banham Mark III key with the numbers showing
- A clear scan or photo of your photo ID (Driving Licence or Passport)
- Proof of property ownership* – this can be one of the following:
- Buildings insurance
- Solicitor’s letter confirming ownership eg. completion statement from purchase or Power of Attorney
- Long Commercial lease (5+ years residential / 10+ years commercial)
- Service charge / ground rent invoice
- Managing agents’ Terms of Business
- Land Registry* (we offer a free check in any Banham showroom but, as Land Registry isn’t always up to date, we recommend providing another proof of property ownership)
- Please note we don’t accept utility or council tax bills as we need to differentiate between owners and tenants.
2. Then please complete the following steps:
a. Upload and send the three documents to us here
b. You will receive an E-sign registration to electronically sign.
c. This will return to us automatically – please allow up to three working days for your Key Registration to take effect.
(Once your Key Registration is set up, you can get duplicate keys cut in any Banham showroom.
