Beautiful and precision-engineered, all Banham fire resistant doors and frames are installed by one of our specially-trained experts, and provide protection against fire and smoke for 30 minutes.
COMPLETE FIRE PROTECTION
Our door sets have been thoroughly tested to meet new legal requirements for fire safety. Our fire door set, comprising laminated hardwood door, two Banham locks and a door viewer, is rated FD30 and provides fire protection for up to 30 minutes. Suitable for internal inward-opening use, our doors are ideal for residential buildings such as apartments. Our concealed door closer provides adjustable and smooth closing, or surface closers are also available.
BANHAM LOCKS AS STANDARD
All our doors are fitted as standard with a pair of Banham fire locks for maximum security. You can also add ironmongery such as letterplates and protectors or 180 degree door viewers, which have been tested for fire and smoke protection. Our locks and door furniture are available in six luxury finishes to suit your space and you can even mix and match if you want your interior different to your exterior.
FULLY CERTIFIED
Our doorsets have been independently tested and are fully compliant with the new BS EN 1634 standards for fire and smoke. Our set is rated FD30, providing 30 minutes of certified fire resistance. This is the only fire door using Banham locks that meets recommended standards.
FAQs - Fire Door frequent questions
What’s changing with the regulations?
The accepted standard for fire door testing is changing, and only products with UKCA ratings will be accepted.
Our fire door set, which comprises the door, the lock combination and hinges, has been tested to the new standard BS EN 1634-1 for fire and BS EN 1634-3 for smoke.
This is the only fire door with Banham locks that meets new standards.
How to order / order process
Book a site visit from one of our expert fire safety team, who will advise you free of charge on the solution that meets your individual requirements.
We’ll provide you a quote, and once you’re happy, we’ll carry out a final measure, and then order the door set with your chosen options.
Fitting and installation
We’ll measure twice before your door is handmade. Once this is done we will then hand-fit the locks to your door, and hand finish the door in your chosen paint and/or panelling.
We’ll arrange a date to suit you for the installation of your door at the property.
The door will have a label confirming all relevant details so you’ll be ready for any future fire assessments.
Are the Locks and door furniture included?
All our fire doors come with two Banham locks. These are our best-selling nightlatch and mortice lock combination for maximum security.
You can choose to add from our door furniture range, available in six luxury finishes.
You can choose to have different finishes for the interior and exterior of your door for maximum style.
Can I have a door viewer?
Yes. Our solid fire doors come with or without a door viewer available in a choice of five luxury finishes to match the rest of your hardware. You can also add ironmongery such as letterplates, knobs and door numerals in matching finishes for a flawless style.Can I have bespoke finishes and styles?
Yes, we offer different moulding styles and veneers, so you can have a veneer externally and a paint finish of your choice internally to match your own interior style. We can also offer split finishes for the door and frame, to suit your individual preferences. Locks can also be provided in split finishes so you can choose exactly how you want your interior and exterior colour schemes to look.
