What’s included in the keyholding service?

All keyholding members’ keys will be kept in our secure facility. Depending on the membership package selected, the below services are either included or available at an additional fee: 

  • 24-hour alarm and emergency response by an SIA-licensed key guard

  • Investigating and securing of your property by our team after an alarm activation

  • 24-hour lockout support

  • Personalised service reports sent via email immediately after every visit.

How fast do you respond to alarm activations?

Our rapid response Alarm Receiving Centre runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Are Banham keyguards SIA licensed?

Yes. All of our key guards are SIA‑licensed, the mandatory accreditation needed for front-line security work in the UK. They are trained to handle emergency response and police liaison. We never outsource keyholding: all key guards are vetted Banham employees.

Can you provide access for contractors or staff?

Yes. With your permission, key guards can provide access to engineers, workmen, or staff. This service is available for a standard call-out charge.

Do you carry out routine security checks?

Yes. Banham key guards can conduct routine security checks of your property. This service is available for a standard call-out charge.

Can keyguards help with pets or appliances?

Yes. Our key guards can turn off appliances and even feed pets. This service is available for a standard call-out charge.

What does home keyholding cost?
