The Safer Barnet Crime Prevention
The Golders Green team joined the Haringey Police at the Safer Barnet crime prevention event, Saturday 10th October at Hornsey Library. This event enabled the team to give the locals of crouch-end innovative ways to improve their home security as well as inform them of the everyday procedures they could put in place to foilthe opportunistic burglar.
Many of the locals believed a good front door lock would ensure safety however, they had often forgotten about a back door or maybe a window. We were able to point this out and get the locals thinking about how they could put the extra preventative measures in place.
“It was a great experience enabling us to help our local community beyond the showroom. We were able to give the locals a physical and verbal demonstration of how our products work and what these could be used for. Not only did we have locks but we had safes, an alarm board and grille displays.” Triston Golders Green Store Manager
We received great feedback from the local police as they have recommended us for future events and also invited the Golders Green staff out to ‘walk the beat’ with a police officer which consist of patrolling the local area and where needed give security advice to locals.
