Free Technician Apprenticeship Training Programme for Women

Banham Academy – the leading accredited provider in England for apprenticeship training in fire and security systems – has partnered with the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) to launch a free apprenticeship training programme for women to encourage more diversity and inclusion within the industry

Practical Skills: 

  • Understanding electrical safety and cable wiring 
  • Preventing and detecting a potential fire 
  • Connecting up a CCTV camera 
  • Carrying out diagnostic tests for faults in an alarm system
  • Programming an access card

  • Employers from the sector will be in attendance on the final day of the programme with opportunities for paid apprenticeships for suitable participants (Banham Security, Siemens, Johnsons Control)
